Painting On Fabric Classes
First of all, in this course, students will become familiar with different types of fabric and materials before beginning the
process of painting. Then, students will learn different painting techniques such as the Watercolor technique, the Stain
technique, the Lightness and Shadows technique, and the Stencil technique. By learning these skills, students can learn how to create beautiful designs and patterns on things such as cushions, shirts, and shoes.
History of Painting On Fabric Art
Fabric painting is craftsmanship that began thousands of years ago in Asia and eventually expanded to other parts of Asia, Europe, and Africa through trade routes.
The technique has a deep history in Asia through Kalamkari, an ancient Indian art, and also in China and Japan, where other forms of patterning were developed. Now on a global level fabric painting is used on a daily basis as a hobby and for business.
